Premium demo theater at North Sea, Germany

This flagship home theater was crafted by our German partners Grobi.tv and Heimkinobau, under the guidance of renowned expert Holger Franz. The project was purposefully designed not only for demonstration but also as a business showcase, highlighting the premium cinema experience with MAG Theatron acoustics. It’s located along the North Sea coast in Lower Saxony, in the municipality of Wurster Nordseekueste, just north of Bremen and west of Hamburg.

The setup is uncompromising in many ways: featuring a full 13.1.10 spec including Dolby Atmos, Auro3D, DTS-X, and IMAX Enhanced. It sports a premium MAG Theatron acoustics setup, including 3 x M12, 10 x S8 (lower level), 10 x CS44 (upper level), 8 x DBA18 Sub (Double Bass Array), and the one-of-a-kind ultimate cinema subwoofer MAG THOR-24, designed for large theaters. It hits infrasound frequencies (16 Hz at -10 dB) and an unparalleled peak sound pressure of 140 dB.

The room measures 5.10 x 10.50 x 3.0 meters. It uses a Display Technologies screen measuring 420 cm x 236 cm with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a Barco Freya – RGB laser projector. The setup includes 2 x Trinnov Amplitude 16 power amplifiers and two unique High-End preamps/AV Processors: Trinnov Altitude 32 and Storm Audio ISP Elite 32, also ready for demonstration and comparison. The room is fully acoustically prepared in accordance with all cinema building rules. Seating is done by Moovia including two rows of three (totaling six) seats.

With the release of the new magnificent flagship screen system in 2024, Holger has begun to think about an upgrade, as the M12 has been dethroned by the fresh leadership MAG Theatron M15. It’s great to see the demo room maintain its top-notch relevance.
